Monday's Riddle: Story Beans...

Hello, Riddlers! Can you guess our theme this week? One of my favorite twisty tales. ; ) ~ F

A story sprung from a bean spills magic on the scene. Tossed away, seed took root, stalking up a giant's boot. In the clouds, riches rise; tantalizing thieving eyes. Up the stem to get the loot, luckily, it's not Groot.

What am I referring to? Stop by Wednesday for the answer!

I gave you a clue!

  6. That's still a favorite tale of mine. I keep planting bean seeds in expectation of the plants soaring into the clouds, but they never grow higher than six feet. :-)

  11. I think these are always so fun, and thank you for getting my brain up and running. We all loved Jack and the Beanstalk! Wouldn't it be so neat to throw some magic beans in a forest and watch it grow to such HUGE proportions? Happy Tuesday! Hugs...RO

  13. Hi DMS - this one floored me as I didn't think it could be Jack and his beanstalk - then of course The Groot doesn't mean anything ... live and learn, I guess! Cheers Hilary

  16. It has to be Jack and the Beanstalk right? I have a good suggestion for you actually with a trilogy that has a sort of retelling element of Jack and the Beanstalk. The first book is called Half Upon a Time. It's fantastic.
